Vinuta Ramakrishnan
President

After joining Model United Nations in her freshman year, Vinuta began to explore international policy and political affairs while becoming a more confident public speaker. An active participant in the club, Vinuta loves to engage in debate about various global issues and has attended various conferences, winning Best Delegate awards. As a sophomore, Vinuta worked as a Crisis Analyst of NBTHSMUNC’s first-ever Joint Crisis Committee. As a junior, she served on the executive board as the Under Secretary General of Finance, and was also the chair of the INTERPOL Committee for NBTHSMUNC VI. Now, as a senior, Vinuta has the honor of working as the President of the NBTHS Model UN Club. Vinuta looks forward to meeting and seeing you all this year at NBTHSMUNC VII!
Lasya Bejugama
Secretary General
Lasya first joined Model UN in her freshman year, where she discovered her passion for international affairs and foreign diplomacy. In her freshman year, Lasya attended her first conference in Prague, Czech Republic, and while initially overwhelmed by the fast-paced nature of a conference, it was her stepping stone into the realm of global relations. Since then, she has grown immensely in public speaking, knowledge of global issues, and problem-solving skills. In her sophomore year, Lasya was a co-chair of the INTERPOL committee at NBTHSMUNC VI, attended a conference in Spain, as well as St. Peter's Conference. Now as a junior, Lasya is honored to step up as the Secretary General and welcomes you all to NBTHSMUNC VII!
Katherine Chedid
Under Secretary General of Internal Affairs
Katherine first joined Model United Nations as a freshman, where she quickly found herself drawn to discussions on global affairs and developed strong public-speaking skills. Since then, she has been an enthusiastic member of the club, attending conferences internationally and debating global issues. Her freshman year she attended the PRAMUN conference in Prague, Czech Republic. In her sophomore year, she contributed to NBTHSMUNC’s Covid-19 Crisis Committee as a Crisis Analyst and attended the MUN conference in Bilbao, Spain. Currently as a junior, she stepped into a leadership role as the USG of Internal Affairs. Katherine is very proud to be the Crisis Director this year is excited to welcome you all to NBTHSMUNC VII!
Patryk Bielski
Under Secretary General of External Affairs
After joining Model United Nations during his freshman year, Patryk was exposed to the world of foreign diplomacy in ways that he never imagined. Attending his first conference in Prague, Patryk experienced a level of international connection that truly solidified the purpose of the United Nations—to build bridges and find consensus among the world's diverse social and political viewpoints. As a sophomore, he was allowed to attend another international conference, this time in Spain, further ingraining the idea that unity driven by cross-cultural similarities is a feasible alternative to the division plaguing the world. Now, as a junior, Patryk has been selected as the chair of NBTHSMUNC's first-ever Historical Committee. Outside of MUN, Patryk is a tutor, enjoys spending time with his dog, and is an active participant in his community via numerous volunteer organizations.
Akshita Thakur
Under Secretary General of Media
After joining Model United Nations in her freshman year, Akshita quickly discovered her passion for international affairs, diplomacy, and the art of debate. Throughout her time in the club, she has had opportunities to learn about complex global issues, collaborate with fellow delegates, and improve her public speaking skills. Akshita has earned multiple Best Delegate awards and has proudly represented NBTHS at several international conferences, further deepening her interest in global policy. As a sophomore, Akshita served as a Crisis Co-Chair for NBTHSMUNC VI. This year, she is excited to return to Crisis once again as Crisis Chair, bringing her experience and creativity to the committee. Now serving as the Under Secretary-General of Media, Akshita is dedicated to strengthening the conference’s communication, outreach, and engagement. She looks forward to meeting all delegates this year and helping make NBTHSMUNC VII an unforgettable experience!
Jumana Abbas
Under Secretary General of Finance
Jumana Abbas joined Model UN in her freshman year, with a passion for public speaking and global politics. As an active member in the club, Jumana enjoys engaging in rapid debates, delivering speeches, and working with delegates to brainstorm and draft creative resolutions. In her sophomore year, Jumana attended and won Best Delegate in Bilbao, Spain, as well as awards at the St. Peter’s Conference.
